On September 13, 2011 fifteen students enrolled in Outdoor Education at Sacred Heart School visited the P+H centre in Hanover and partook in canoe skills course. Students engaged in a variety of skills including canoe rescues, strokes, safely exiting and entering a canoe while in the water and rescues. On September 27 students will venture to Issac Lake for a day of canoeing and core camping skills. Thank you to Outback sports for the use of the canoes and the staff of the P+H centre.
