Celebrating Black History Digital Quilt
This project is in recognition of the contributions of Black culture in honour of Black history in Canada and around the world. For centuries, people of African descent have confronted – and continue to confront – prejudice and inequality with systemic barriers that are still preventing full and equal participation in society. Black culture has endured, risen up, fought back, suffered, contributed, and celebrated in all parts of our world.
